Has This Happened Before?

SUNDAY SCRIPTURE – MAY 4, 2008 SENT BY GHUNA KUMAR FOR GOSPEL FRIENDS,
P.BOX NO.2202, MANDAVELI, CHENNAI-28, INDIA

"MY CUP OVERFLOWS" Ps 23:5

The whole of last week this was our experience. We expected 2500
children to attend VBS at Living Hope Center, Mount Zion. But to our
amazement the Lord sent 3138 children from 88 villages with the age
group of 5 to 17. Our campus overflowed with souls. On the final day we
had great harvest of several hundreds of children committing their lives
to the Lord Jesus Christ.

  1. Good uplifting Sunday news. There is a lot of negative news out there, and it is nice to read something different.

I had a good day with church friends and Mom, and then wrote a short one...

  4. You mean I need to wonder if the blogger's intellect is fully engaged? I've seen that type before - shoot from the hip they do!

  5. No, I know the folks, and it is legit. The question is whether anyone else has seen this kind of turnout.

  8. Many years ago I had a tiny version of this happen on the Standing Rock Reservation in ND. We expected 60 kids and by week's end we were ministering to about 175... And just down the Big River from me is a little Anglican Church in Black Rocks, Mexico. They regularly get (present day) HUGE numbers of kids--many more than they plan for.
